FDR-1000 Flight Data Recorder for Fighters & UAVs FDR-1000
FDR-1000 is a miniature fan-less PC computer with a Removable Memory Module (RMM), running XP Embedded, or Linux. The RMM is used for classified data handling, and recording during missions, in military platforms such as Fighters, helicopters, large UAVs, Autonomous Vehicles and Naval vessels. The FDR-1000 is built for operational maintainability, with a quick release mounting tray. The computer can be customized with various input/output cards, additional serial ports, Sound, Video, A/D, 1553 ARINC-429, CAN BUS.
Recording Software The recorder monitors the data of two independent dual-redundant MIL-STD-1553 buses, up to four (4) RS-422 (up to 115KB per channel) , eight (8) discrete signals and one Ethernet Channel.
All or selected portions of this data may be recorded continuously with options to manually or automatically start/stop recording. Monitored and recorded flight data is synchronize with computer time.
The software records
data onto a removable Recording Media Module (RMM) in files per
IRIG-106 Chapter 10 formats . For debriefing the data in
the RMM is downloaded into Ground Workstation or a Laptop PC via a USB
port. Temperature: -54°C to + 71°C XP Embedded,
